Research on Micro-Pore Structure and 3D Visual Characterization of Inter-Salt Shale Based on X-CT Imaging Digital Core Technology

Pore structure is the key factor affecting reservoir accumulation and enrichment behavior. Due to complex mineral components pore of shale oil reservoirs strong heterogeneity, it necessary explore micro-pore characteristics inter-salt shale. In this study, in order qualitatively quantitatively analyze reservoirs, as well evaluate composition its spatial distribution characteristics, three samples from 10th cyclothem Eq3 (Eq34–10 cyclothem) were selected acquire 2D 3D grayscale images by modular automated processing system (MAPS) X-ray micro-computed tomography (Micro-CT), respectively. The color map inlaid aggregates was established Quantitative Evaluation Minerals Scanning Electron Microscopy (QEMSCAN), different types image determined. After that, digital core technology used reconstruct 3D, maximum sphere method extract network model, so realize quantification micron throats visualization inter-shale samples. Meanwhile, compare fractal pores samples, two-dimensional three-dimensional dimensions cores calculated combining technique with theory. study yielded several notable results: multi-scale, CT scanning can effectively rock microstructure without damage. are mainly intergranular pores, interparticle dissolved minerals dolomite, calcite, glauberite. throat radius sample 0.5–13.9 μm, coordination number range 1–4, shape triangular square. space has suitable dimension 2.41–2.49. sum, work microscopic oil, establishing a basis for further understanding seepage exploration development oil.
